A Quilt for Whitney

Last week for Young Women's we ALL got together and made a quilt for our friend Whitney.

Who could resist that smile!!???????????

 What a grand time we had together.

Love filled the room, as well as chatter and laughter.

Many of the girls had already been to Sister Shelly Chamberlain's  during the week to sew quilt squares together.

 Sister Chamberlain you are so awesome to help us and care about our project so much.

In a flash the girls had the quilt tied and we were ready to iron on photos of all of the young women and leaders.

We included a great photo of Whitney with her siblings.

Can you just imagine?

Have you seen Whitney with her photo book she carries in her backpack?

Serving with the Young Women in this ward is a joy and a privilege.

We can't wait to give this quilt to our friend Whitney.

Thank You

Everyone who attended our ward youth conference last week had a great time.  Those of us who are leaders grew to love the youth even more and enjoyed them and their energy and personality greatly.

Alyssa created this awesome thank you sign which we all got to write our thank yous to the wonderful Harris's in Princess Park Ward because we stayed in their home for our Youth Conference.

Thank you parents for trusting us with your sons and daughters.

Thank you to the YOUTH for coming and participating.

Here we all are at the Taylor Cemetery on Friday after we did a service project there.

Especially Thanks to the Cook's who fed us the most delicious food and never let us go hungry.

Cooking hot dogs and hamburgers at Fool Hollow Lake.  DELICIOUS!
